FIRST LEGO League Qualifier 





On Saturday, December 4, 2010, teams from around Vancouver Island competed at the Vancouver Island FIRST LEGO League Qualifier which was held at George Bonner School in Mill Bay.


The Bio Stormers had a busy morning with 2 robot runs, a technical interview
and their research presentations. It was a hectic morning.  In the
afternoon, we had our final robot run of the day.  



They thought the interview and presentation went well, but our robot 'Synchy',
was not having it's best day.  





But the team had fun and has lots of ideas on what to change.  We were
delighted to place 2nd overall!


Thank you to all the volunteers, judges, parents, coaches, team members, but
most of all to the tournament organizer, Mark Sicherman, for all his hard
work.  It was a great event.

Congratulations to the Hurricanes who came first!

 

Good Luck to all the teams at the FIRST LEGO League Provincial Championships on January 15, 2011 at BCIT.
